Who are we?

AUSA Hoops was founded by Rhys Murphy, an Australian who played Division 1 College basketball in the US.

Rhys chased his love for basketball over an opportunity for an Olympic Track & Field career and a Harvard degree. After graduation from Oregon State, Rhys came back home from college to build a basketball program that he wished existed when he was in high school.
He and his incredible team now work to build a step-by-step pathway for Australians to play college basketball; from training to recruiting to college eligibility requirements.
