When are the trial sessions?

What if I am not available for every session?
There is not a strict requirement that you attend every session. If you are on holidays, playing in a tournament, or unavailable for another reason, you are still allowed to participate in the Summer Development Academy. Ideally we would prefer players to be at every session as the coaches will be emphasising progressive development over time, building on concepts that are taught from session to session. No discount is provided for missed sessions.

What if I miss the October 27 deadline to accept my invitation?
We will send out a second round of invitations on October 28th. It is likely that the Summer Development Academy will be filled very quickly after that date, so if you intend to participate, please ensure you have your acceptance from in by this date. Unfortunately, we will not have the capability to extend the number of placements available if you try to register late.

When is payment due?
If you have signed and returned the attached acceptance letter, payment for the Summer Development Academy is due November 11th, 2016. A late fee of $250 will be applied for late payments (which have not cleared our bank account by November 11th). The full payment and any applicable late fees are due before a player will be allowed to participate in any practice sessions.

Can I pay on a payment plan?
Yes, we have a payment plan available for fees to be paid over the duration of the summer.

Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, you can by by credit card if you prefer not to make a direct bank transfer. An additional 3% fee will be applied to any credit card payments. Please email directly if you would like to pay by credit card and we will send you an invoice that can be paid online.

If I am going on an AAU Tour, can I get a discount on the Summer Development Academy?
Yes, we offer a 25% discount on the Summer Development Academy if you are coming on an AAU Tour in 2018.

In the past 3 years, AUSA Hoops have helped more players get NCAA D1 scholarships than any other private basketball program in Australia.
